I am an Auckland-based artist whose practice explores contemporary figurative painting through a quiet, introspective lens. My work is characterised by simplified female forms, softened edges, and a sensitivity to colour and atmosphere.
With over 25 years of painting experience, I began my creative journey in Sydney, Australia. After completing an Interior Design Diploma, I studied at the Julian Ashton Art School. I later worked as an illustrator for magazines and advertising agencies before returning to Auckland to focus on my painting practice.
My work spans group and solo exhibitions, private commissions, and international sales, with pieces held in collections in New Zealand and overseas.
Today, my practice continues to evolve — exploring digital processes alongside traditional painting, and developing a more abstract visual language while maintaining my distinctive figurative presence. My work centres on mood, stillness, and the emotional connection between artwork and interior space.
